management support.
How We Can Help
We provide administrative and project support for Canadian trademark applications and
management for businesses, brands, and sole proprietors, including:
• preliminary searches of the Canadian trademarks database
• organization of brand and trademark information
• organization of goods and services
• Nice Classification preparation
• review of application information
• and coordination of the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) application
process
After a trademark application is filed, we can help businesses:
• establish an application file
• and track the main Formalities, Examination, Publication, Opposition, and
Registration stages
• while organizing CIPO notices, important deadlines, and follow-up matters
For registered Canadian trademarks, we can provide administrative support for:
• renewal timing management

• organization of trademark-assignment registration information
• and trademark portfolio management
Canadian trademark registrations generally operate on a ten-year registration cycle and may
be renewed in accordance with law.

Scope & Professional Boundaries
Inspelis provides trademark application process support, information organization, and
project management support. We do not provide representation services reserved to
registered trademark agents. Matters involving legal opinions on trademark registrability,
professional legal responses to examination reports, opposition proceedings, Section 45
proceedings, litigation, or matters requiring an agent to represent a client before CIPO
should be handled directly by the client or by a registered trademark agent or lawyer.
